Service Description

Junior Canoeing Development Program – Starfish Badge, Seahorse Badge, Seal Badge, Sea Lion Badge, Walrus Badge (5-day course) - Complete the 1- to 3-star canoeing badge course in 5 days. - Upon meeting the age requirement, students can directly participate in the beginner's test. Passing this test is equivalent to obtaining a 3-star badge certificate. 1-Star Canoeing Badge Training (1-day course) - Learn basic paddling techniques, including whistle signal recognition, personal equipment, and how to wear a life jacket/buoyancy suit. - Paddleboarding - Proper handling of capsizing 2-Star Canoeing Badge Training (1-day course) - Recognition of life jackets/buoyancy suits, paddles, and canoes, and the impact of weather. - Stern rudder steering - Flexible use of paddleboarding - HI-type Deep Water Rescue Method Canoe 3-Star Badge Training (1-Day Course) - Canoeing Safety Knowledge - Horizontal Paddle - Balance While Still - Individual Nearshore Boat Clearance - X-Type Deep Water Rescue Method Intermediate Canoe Bronze Badge Training (1-Day Course) - X-Type Deep Water Rescue Method - Balance While Still and Moving - Equipment and Safety Rules for the Trip Intermediate Canoe Silver Badge Training (Technique and Trip) (2-Day Course) - Eskimo Rescue Method - Understanding of Wind, Tides, and Current Characteristics - Trip of at Least 15 km Intermediate Canoe Gold Badge Training (Technique and Trip) (2-Day Course) - Horizontal Paddle and Balance - Hand-held Balance Turn - Map and compass knowledge - A journey of at least 15 kilometers. - Attendance certificate holders can apply directly to the General Association or registered member associations for a one-day "Intermediate Canoe Certificate," and then apply to the General Association for the "Intermediate Canoe Certificate." *The above is a summary of the certificate course highlights. Please refer to the Hong Kong Canoe Federation website for details. *Please specify the certificate level when submitting your registration; as required by the Hong Kong Canoe Federation, if the certificate duration is more than one day, please purchase an additional certificate course activity.
