Service Description
Activity Highlights: - Teamwork x STEM x Water Sports. - Through Olympic values (respect, relationship building, and striving for excellence), students will develop nine of the twelve primary values: respect for others, responsibility, law-abidingness, perseverance, diligence, commitment, compassion, empathy, and unity. - Activities include: Flatbed rowing relay race, Typhoon Shelter dragon boat ride, and water quality assessment challenge. - Flexible activity arrangements; some events can be substituted with other activities. Please contact the center staff for details. - In addition to the Jockey Club Aquatic Centre, activities may also be held at Runway 1331 of the Youth Station. Activity Introduction: 1. Flatboat Assembly Relay Race This activity cultivates students' sense of responsibility and teamwork through orienteering and cooperative assembly of flatboats. Each student is assigned and assumes a different role, fulfilling individual responsibilities while optimizing teamwork. 2. Typhoon Shelter Dragon Boat Cruise This activity effectively cultivates students' perseverance. Students must persist in paddling, adjusting rhythm and direction, strengthening physical endurance, and cultivating an indomitable spirit to help the dragon boat continue its journey. 3. Water Quality Assessment Challenge This activity emphasizes accurate data recording, avoiding falsified results, and strengthening scientific integrity. Through data analysis and sharing sessions, students' sense of environmental responsibility and personal integrity are cultivated.
